We want to celebrate the arrival of Friday evening with this class, why not right? Wanna know where the famous Spritz comes from? Den would know, she was born there! What a better way than to experience this italian tradition with a local.


The experience of aperitivo is a cultural ritual in Italy, an Aperitivo is a pre-meal drink meant to awaken your appetite, it happens usually in that blissful moment between the end of work and the beginning of dinner. It is a time to switch-off from work obligations and start to enjoy your personal time, perfect to catch up with friends, enjoy some tasty treats together with a cocktail. 


During this class we’ll be making the famous Spritz cocktail to enjoy while we prepare three different types of delicious bruschetta and at the end of the class you’ll be ready to pour yourself another spritz and enjoy your Friday evening with this delicious Italian Aperitivo!

  • 1 Large loaf of bread (sourdough/artisan bread)

Bruschetta w/bell peppers, anchovies and hard-boiled egg

  • Anchovies in olive oil

  • 1 egg

  • 1 red bell pepper

  • 1 garlic clove

Bruschetta w/ cherry tomatoes and basil

  • Cherry tomatoes (ripe and very sweet)

  • Garlic

  • Fresh basil leaves 

  • Balsamic vinegar

  • Olive oil

Bruschetta w/ paté di olive

  • 200 g Small unpitted green olives

  • Anchovies in olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 2 tbsp pine nuts

  • 1 tbsp capers under salt 

  • Olive oil

  • White vinegar


  • 3 parts of prosecco (place the bottle in the fridge before class)

  • 2 parts of Aperol (place the bottle in the fridge before class)

  • A dash of Soda

  • An orange slice

  • Ice cubes

Tools needed:

  • 1 Large heavy bottomed pot

  • 1 Medium pot

  • 1 sharp knife

  • Blender

  • 2 bowls

  • 1 Large tray

  • Paper Towels 


  • To spend some time having a talk and cooking some no-fuss bites, loaded with italian flavors you might have not combined together before. This class is meant to be an entertaining way to switch off into the weekend!
